March 6th, 2026 (1pm-5pm) - Assessment & Diagnosis of Anxiety Disorders
Please join us for an online workshop on March 6th (1-5 pm Mountain/Alberta time). I like to leave lots of time for questions, so we may finish a little earlier than 5pm in the event that there are no questions from participants. People needing to slip out a little before 5pm will likely be able to do so without missing too much substantive content.
Anxiety disorders occur at a higher frequency than any other category of mental health conditions, and the recognition and accurate diagnosis of these conditions is a crucial part of clinical practice. This workshop will be useful for those who want to build their clinical skills or who want to refresh or review their knowledge in this area, but it will also be great for people who don’t want to treat anxiety disorders but who want to be able to recognize them and to make appropriate referrals when they need to.
The workshop will be online, and it will cover:
The diagnostic criteria for anxiety disorders
Discussion of differential diagnosis from a practical clinical perspective
How to use screening measures to refine your assessment process
The cost for the training is 250.00. If you have questions or would like to e-transfer payment instead, you can email crysbrownpsych@gmail.com
Side note: This training will NOT be taped, and the tickets are not refundable, but they are transferable, so if you are unable to come you can feel free to pass the ticket along to another person!
PLEASE BE SURE TO FILL OUT ALL THE REGISTRATION INFORMATION CAREFULLY. IF I CANNOT CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL YOU WILL NOT GET THE LINK TO YOUR TRAINING.
